Keeping students interested and engaged in our college community during these times is difficult, but more important than ever. We will cover a number of CampusGroups features that we have used to maintain the vital inter-student connection and sense of belonging that is hard to achieve when physically separated. Limitless Possibilities with CampusGroups
Sharing Bowdoin College's experiences using CampusGroups to manage Covid testing and reporting, scheduling of dining and athletic facilities, and overall campus embrace of a single application.
Flexibility of creating events as Bowdoin iterated thru process of Covid testing for students and staff (using member tags for cohorts, timeslots, invitations, reminders) - "Late August 2020, our previous Covid testing scheduling vendor was not ready and we needed to come up with another option quickly".
Reporting thru CampusGroups UI for Testing Center, Dining, and Gym staff.
CampusGroups college support group - onboarding new staff officers to set up own groups (academic departments, facilities, etc). Created Bowdoin specific trainings and standards, checklist required to be completed, and test group to experiment with).
