Fraternities and Sororities are like people, they have their own DNA, values, and goals. Before applying to one or another, Freshmen want to know more about Greek Organizations that exist on their campus.
Tell your story, promote your values, define what you do, how your Greek Life Organization works and why it was originally founded.
Design your own Fraternity or Sorority website, and invite potential new members to events you will host!
With our Website Builder module, no coding or design skills are required! Simply drag & drop widgets that generate dynamic HTML content. Edit your pages with texts, pictures, dynamic contents, designs, news, testimonials or member of your GLO.
Use the Email builder to send newsletters about your GLO and invite people to your events so they know more about your Sorority or Fraternity. Make them want to apply!
Create and manage events on campus to launch rush week and let people know about your values, activities, and history. Track attendance to identify the most motivated people with QR code scanning, manually, or by card reader.
When it's time for Freshmen to rush, brothers and sisters interview hundreds or sometimes thousands of potential new members (PNM) in a very short period of time. Members need to make sure rushees have similar interests in philanthropy, scholarship, friendship, and share the main values of their GLO.
All sisters and brothers of a GLO can not meet all rushees. A PNM can be interviewed by some members for the first step and by other ones for the next round. CampusGroups helps you keep track of your brothers' and sisters' notes, reviews and thoughts during interviews. You may want to know if you are meeting with a rushee that is recommended by your sorority for example. Make sure your GLO follows up and keeps consistency on all PNM during the rush process.
Streamline the application process by creating forms to be filled out by each rushee, to save time and paper. Forms are 100% customizable to meet your GLO needs.
Use Approval Processes to follow rushees' rounds in your GLO. Attach dynamic and automated approval workflows to their application forms. Assign the appropriate person to review submissions.
Use polls to vote for your favorite prospective members to become new members! Restrict access to polls to current members of your sorority or fraternity, vote on a centralized platform and make it visible only to your GLO.
Once your GLO has decided on who they want to offer a bid to, another process starts. Keep records of bids and acceptances in one single place to streamline the process. List all new prospects and start the new members' education.
When new members accept your bid, add them to your online group. Officers of the group control admissions to make sure Greek Life stays private. Regroup members with tags (new members, members, president, etc) and assign them specific permissions.
Share your stories, pictures, rituals, songs, videos (like stepping demonstration) or information about your community with new members. Share files within your group to keep them secure, organized, and accessible anywhere but not from everyone.
Use Tracks and Checklists to make sure your new members meet your requirements or sign a confidentiality agreement. Assign member tags (e.g., first year, graduation year, alumni) to track and target your communications to exactly the right people.
Greek Life was initially created for future leaders to socialize and serve the community through philanthropic activities. Basketball tournaments for example can be organized to collect money to give to charity associations.
Sororities and Fraternities organize a variety of events to meet like sisterhood events, formals, date nights, swaps, exchanges, philanthropy events... All these events require funding, organization, and processes to manage your campus Greek Life. At CampusGroups, we develop tools to help you streamline your event planning and budgeting processes.
Create new events, recurring meetings or multi-day trips for your community or the entire campus. Our events module offers unique privacy settings for your GLO. Benefit from a centralized calendar to promote and advertise upcoming events.
With our Email module, no need to be a skilled designer to send the most impactful invites or newsletters to your community. Let them know about the next meeting from your GLO and other upcoming events by drag & dropping dynamic widgets on your page. Register in just a few clicks!
Inclusion and solidarity are key values in a GLO. Know which members are attending your events with our attendance tracking tools. You can track your data manually, by scanning members' ID cards or QR codes from a laptop or on your mobile app. Easily identify your most engaged members by downloading reports.
Allow your organization members to discover new community service opportunities and register to participate. Track service hours through participation, assign members to groups and activities according to their tags or achievements and submit hours for verification.
Track revenues you earned from events, games or activities on campus, list pending and paid dues and report expenditures of your GLO. Our approval process allows you to involve different members of your community to keep track of the budget. Use the reimbursement system to get money back after you purchased decoration or food for an event.
Quantify the impact of your Greek Life Organization programs and collect valuable feedback from members. Enable members to reflect on experiences and report learning outcomes.
Being part of a sorority can be your first leadership experience.
As you become more experienced and involved in your Sorority, you will be able to advise the new members and help them make the most out of their four years on campus. Therefore, you become a "Big", someone your "Little" will rely on and ask questions.
This might be one of your first responsibilities as an adviser. We created streamlined processes to make your tasks easier.
Allow students to book a meeting with Bigs through synchronized calendars. A one-on-one connection allows you to easily feel if there is a match between a Little and a Big.
If the first interview was a good match, Littles can be asked to fill out forms so you get to know more about them to confirm your impression before matching Bigs to Littles.
Private conversations allow Littles to ask questions they are less comfortable talking about at the Chapter House for example, while getting a quick answer. You can also create a group chat with all your Littles, so they can connect & share your knowledge.
Each Fraternity and Sorority has its own code of conduct, values, secrets, signs, and songs. They can even have secret members. Make sure you keep all of your secret data in a safe place, accessible only by your own organization, and well-protected.
When sharing your files in your group directly on the feed or on your group's website, you can be sure your documents will be safe and only accessible to your GLO's members.
Create group chats to allow your GLO to stay in touch, without sharing any confidential information on public channels campus-wide.
Make your rituals, community activities or trips private and only visible by your GLO by easily customizing your own events.
Networking has been a key added value for members since fraternities and sororities were first created. Today with CampusGroups, you can access your community job offers even after you have graduated and left campus. Once part of a GLO, you will always be one of their sisters or brothers. Therefore, you will have access to the Alumni community. This allows you to access valuable opportunities, all gathered on a centralized platform.
Create a job board in your GLO's group, post job offers and apply to any of them directly on CampusGroups. Allow members to submit jobs through an approval process.
Everyone knows it: friends you make at a GLO are usually friends for life! Stay connected with them through the newsletter and by attending events. Alumni serve as a resource both for current and prospective students.
Use the budgeting module and the email builder to continue the momentum and raise funds for your GLO thanks to the Alumni community.
